The Scotoil Group is committed to international expansion of its interests.

In 2002 the Scotoil Group established its first overseas joint venture, Oilfield Environmental Services (OES), based in Cairo and serving the oil and gas industry in North Africa.

In 2004 Scotoil Services (Middle East) Ltd was established and an alliance formed with the Gulf Environmental Company LLC (GENCO) to bring Scotoil's expertise to the Middle East.
